Barrio de Bocagrande
Cartagena de Indias, a charming city with a walled historic center, was declared a National Heritage of Colombia in 1959 and by the UNESCO World Heritage Site. With historic and environmental attractions, as well as beaches and nearby islands, is a city a person has to visit.
Arrival in Cartagena, assistance by a driver or representative of the agency, who will identify the passenger with a sign that indicates their name, luggage handling and transfer to the selected hotel in a comfortable car.
⦁ We start the trip, taking a tour of the tourist sector of Bocagrande, Castillo Grande, bordering the Bay, Naval club, Marine infantry, Naval Base, town center and the Manga neighborhoods and foot of La Popa, along Avenida Don Pedro de Heredia to the Monument of the Old Shoes, where you can appreciate its beauty and take photos for an average time of 25 minutes
⦁ Visit to the Monastery of La Popa, where we find the Chapel of the Virgen de la Candelaria Patrona of the city, approximately one hour.
⦁ Visit to the Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas and its impressive tunnels. This castle is considered the most outstanding work of Spanish military engineering in Latin America, and is located outside the walled Town Center.
⦁ We continue the tour to the Las Bóvedas shopping center located within the walled sector in the Santa Clara and Santa Catalina forts, and after that visit the Museum of the Emerald, located in the Bocagrande neighborhood.
This great tourist attraction, considered an exotic and natural wonder, is approximately 20 meters high, permanently flowing warm and dense mud that is impossible to sink into. The Totumo Volcano is located in the rural area of the municipality of Santa Catalina (Bolívar), in the Caribbean Region of Colombia, next to the Ciénaga del Totumo and near the border with the department of Atlántico.
Access is via a rustic wooden staircase, which upon reaching the highest point you can enjoy the healing properties of the mud and a good massage.
Visiting the Totumo Volcano is a very fun activity to go either with friends or family. This place is a destination that cannot be missed. Don’t forget to bring a bathing suit, cotton clothing and non-slip shoes.

Enjoy Cartagena and its magic at night
Night walking tour of the ‘Corralito de Piedra’ accompanied by a guide, to live a magical night visiting its streets and squares with its colonial balconies, visiting one of the bastions on the city walls where you will enjoy a drink with a view of a Caribbean sunset
⦁ Then they will continue the journey to the Plaza de Santo Domingo, framed by the church with the same name and the sculptures of the famous artist Fernando Botero.
⦁ The ends with a dinner at a restaurant in the sector.
⦁ Transfer to the hotel by horse carriage.
This is one of the biggest nightlife attractions in the city. The festive and joyful Cartagena nights are at your disposal while traveling in the traditional “CHIVAS”, typical buses painted with bright colors. Sightseeing of the main tourist sectors of the city “bocagrande, large castle, clock towers, pegasus docks, Getsemaní, manga, Castillo San Felipe”.
At the agreed pick-up time in the lobby/reception of the place you’re staying, a horse-drawn carriage ride will pick you up, unless you’re staying outside of the walled Town Center. This tour is the preamble to a Cartagena-style dinner that awaits you at the restaurant Located in Fort San Sebastián de Pastelillo, Fishing Club.
